Mousesports Is Having a Bad Day

January 19th, 2013

This morning we were informed by RIOT that they prohibit Envision from playing the Season 3 offline qualifier.

Envision (formerly known as ShookL2) was a toxic player, but allegedly since October he has changed his ways, even going so far as to change his name to disassociate himself from his past. Riot was aware of the situation, and even allowed Envision to play in the online qualifiers. However, with only a few days to go before the Riot European LCS Qualifiers they have prohibited him from attending. Whether the ban was justified or not is a matter of opinion, but it is a little silly to allow a player to participate up to this point, only to disallow him now. This put Mousesports in the tough spot of having to find a new jungler in just four days.

Not only is Envision punished severely but the dreams and hopes of 4 other individuals are destroyed by this extremely late decision.

Luckily, Mousesports has managed to pick up Naruterador, a jungler who reached 2700 Elo in Season 2. They began practicing immediately.
