With IEM San Jose just around the corner, IEM has announced the brackets for the upcoming IEM San Jose on November 21st. It was recently revealed that Amazon would be backing the event, boosting the total prize pool by $25,000 and holding a crowdfunded sales event at http://amazon.com/IEM to further that number.

In addition, Thevoting for North American LCS teams to IEM Cologne has opened, with four teams who have not been featured in previous IEM events this year eligible as candidates. They will join the already qualified Edward Gaming from China, and the recent champions of the 2015 LoL KeSPA Cup, ESC Ever.

Finally, Mark Cuban,  owner of the Dallas Mavericks and Magnolia Pictures, will be competing against Intel CEO  Brian Krzanich in a celebrity showmatch for charity during the San Jose event. Teams will consist of Krzanich and Cuban at the head of their own roster of former professional players.

The offseason roster shuffle continues as TSM has revealed their lineup for the upcoming IEM San Jose. Announced Via Twitter, the newest rendition of the LoL squad plays host to a mix of NA and EU LCS Stars. With a fresh mindset and winning the only goal, the teams premiere on the IEM stage will serve as a trial period for the newest members of TSM. Announcement video and tweet:

As IEM San Jose draws nearer, ESL has announced that they have invited Korea’s Jin Air Green Wings to join the competition. Jin Air recently placed second in the 2015 LCK Regional Qualifiers falling short of qualifying for the 2015 World Championship.

Jin Air is set to compete with the other teams from Europe and North America, with the Chinese region’s voting currently underway. Lineup so far:

  • Fnatic (Europe #1 Seed)
  • Origen (Europe #2 Seed)
  • Team SoloMid (North America #2 Seed)
  • Counter Logic Gaming (North America #1 Seed)
  • Jin Air Green Wings (Korea #6 Seed)

IEM San Jose is set to kick off on November 21st, at the SAP center in San Jose.

The results of the IEM San Jose European Community vote were announced Thursday, September 17, with Fnatic and Origen leading the vote by sizeable margins. Fnatic and Origen finished first and second place respectively in the European LCS Summer Split, and both teams will be competing at the 2015 World Championship.

Consisting of the top six teams from the European LCS, the two teams will head to San Jose to play for $50,000. Voting for the North American side has opened with the top six teams from the North American LCS.

IEM San Jose takes place on November 21st and 22nd, where six teams from around the world will compete for $50,000 and a shot at the IEM World Championship.
